New York City’s advertising community boarded ferries after work yesterday and flocked to Governors Island for the 7th Annual 212NYC Summer Beach Party. Present were over 2,000 advertising and media professionals, including representatives from top agencies, publishers and industry thought leaders. 

The cabanas and dance floor were buzzing with conversation on how the ad industry will push forward into 2015 as mobile, video and programmatic continue to trend upward. The RhythmOne team was particularly interested in discussing cross-screen advertising at scale and how to truly implement verification and viewability into the mix while still reaching target audiences in a meaningful way.

Beyond the business talk, there was some fun to be had at this party. As the sun dipped below lower Manhattan, the RhythmOne photobooth came to life. Attendees lined up with smiles to take their shots, while the 1R team passed out branded mini misters to guests looking to cool down with a cold wet breeze.  

Later in the evening the headlining event took to the stage. Grammy-winning artist 50 Cent, a media mogul and entrepreneur himself, entertained the masses, capping off an excellent night for the ad community.
