RhythmOne has an outstanding opportunity to join our Corporate Marketing organization as a Media Solutions Marketing Manager (MSM). This position will be based in either New York, NY or Chicago, IL and will be our field marketer for our East and Midwest sales teams.

 

An integral member of Corporate Marketing, the MSM focuses on field marketing and sales enablement programs; in-market product support and training; liasing with the Product and Product Marketing organizations; and championing the RhythmOne brand story across the East and Midwest sales teams as well as the entire company.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

Regional Field Marketing and Pre-Sale Support

 

  • Collaborate with Product and Product Marketing to provide strategic positioning and proactive brainstorming
  • Support sales in requests for information/requests for proposals (i.e., RFI/RFP)
  • Lead the development of sales presentations and marketing collateral tailored to specific assigned account executive and/or client needs
  • Identify client accounts based on growth potential and/or retention; maintain working knowledge of brands’ business objectives and challenges
  • Provide product recommendations to sales in support of pre-sales strategies based on client/account knowledge; leverage in-house and external reporting tools and documents (e.g., eMarketer) to achieve goals
  • Periodically attend client meetings as the in-market product expert, acting as a non-sales voice and playing the role of educator regarding RhythmOne’s capabilities

 

Regional Sales Strategy and Field Marketing Communications

 

  • Consult with Sales and Product Marketing on how to properly incorporate Corporate Marketing and Product initiatives into collateral and programs
  • Brainstorm and develop demand/lead generation programs
  • Train/brief sales on new Corporate Marketing and Product offerings; fully train new sales hires on Corporate Marketing and Product
  • Draft/produce case studies for in-market use
  • Compile and maintain a competitive repository, in cooperation with other Sales regions
  • Provide industry insights and proactive research on an as-needed basis, in concert with the Media Insights & Analytics organization
  • Communicate Corporate Marketing and Product updates to sales via Weekly Status Meetings and as needed

 

Programmatic Task Force

 

  • Serve as in-market expert and sales trainer on RhythmOne’s programmatic offerings, including private marketplaces (PMPs)
  • Generate sales collateral/packages and marketing programs to support PMPs

 

Qualifications and Requirements

 

  • 3-5+ years demonstrated experience in field, product, and/or corporate marketing in online advertising or online media; agency experience a huge plus
  • Programmatic, connected TV, video, mobile, and display advertising experience is essential; online media buying experience a huge plus
  • Comprehensive understanding of the online advertising industry and the agency/client ecosystem
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability for consultative and solution-based training 
  • Team player; ability to build and maintain strong relationships with others in Corporate Marketing and be comfortable working with members of multiple internal organizations at various levels of seniority
  • Possess a drive to work autonomously and work to meet goals at weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly benchmarks
  • Expert MS Office skills including PowerPoint and Excel
  • MarTech stack experience; knowledge of Salesforce and Pardot a huge plus
  • BA/BS degree; business/marketing or communications preferred
  • Located in either the Greater New York City or Greater Chicago area (relocation assistance is not provided)
  • Frequent travel is required
